Welcome to the world of gardening and garden blogging! I don't know what those plants are in your last photo, but they aren't peppers. Where did you get them? Is it possible there could have been a plant or label mix up?
Hi Connie! Thanks for the welcome! You know, I've really been wondering about those plants. They came from a seed packet labeled Grand Bell Peppers, so I'm assuming that's what they are, but I admit they look nothing like any bell pepper plants I've seen. They don't seem to be growing super fast either. Could there have been a mixup at the seed-packaging facility? I bought them at the grocery store so you never know.
Anyone else have any ideas as to what type of plant that is?
Do you still have seeds left from the package? If you wanted to take a picture of them and email it to me, I might be able to help you identify them.
