Today in the Garden

The permanent locations for the two bell pepper plants and the watermelon plant. My tomato plant has grown greatly over the last couple of weeks...and yes, that is Alayna's arm in the picture.

The Romaine Lettuce has formed heads. I harvested one the other day and it was delicious! I've been planting lettuce about every 2 to 3 weeks and I'm set for a continuous supply for the entire season.

Lots of little green tomatoes

Pea-sized tomatoes

I think this is zucchini, but if not its cucumber. I planted the two types of seeds next to each other and forgot which was which.

Krista!

It's great to see your garden!! I'm EXTREMELY impressed! 3 kids now and you still have a beautiful garden?!?! How do you do it!!

I think that the plant that you were wondering about is zuchini. Every french garden has TONS of zuchini plants ('une corgette' in French) and I think I have eaten zuchini's at least every other day! Good thing i like 'em. Of course, I am still a novice as well so I could be wrong but that's what I think.

Well, I have been collecting some good gardening advice at my last house (with the real organic farmers). Can't wait to share some of it with you!

love you,
Kelly

Wow Krista! I really love the way your garden is looking. I see you moved the fencing from the front of your house to the garden. I think it looks really great there! Your close up pics are really fun. Keep us the good work.
much love
